We are part of NCT, a registered charity, and are 100% volunteer run with no external funding. The funds we raise go to keeping the nappy library stocked and running, and as I’m sure you can imagine, these costs add up.

Donations to the library help us to keep our nappy kits up to date with good quality nappies to loan to parents, build kits that can be loaned out free of charge to families in financial hardship, and produce leaflets that can be distributed in the local area that promote cloth nappies and the nappy library.

There are two main ways you can donate to the library:

Firstly, we would love to receive donations of any unwanted cloth nappies and/or accessories such as nappy buckets, liners etc – if, for example, you are a cloth nappy user whose child has potty trained, your nappies could help us to start more families using cloth.  Even nappies that are well used or broken can often be repaired and put to good use.  If we find ourselves with nappies we can’t make use of ourselves, we will distribute them to other libraries around the country, or occasionally sell them to find something we really do need for the library.  Get in touch via Facebook or email if you have nappies you would like to donate.

Secondly, financial donations, however small, can really help us to make a difference to local parents.  You can donate to us directly by getting in touch via facebook or email, or visit our GoFundMe page and donate there –  We will use cash donations to keep the library stock up to date, fund long term loan kits for families in financial hardship, and to help promote the library.  In the unlikely event that we can’t make good use of the cash donations we receive, any surplus is put to great use by our charity NCT to support parents.
